I recently bit the bullet and bought a new digital camera! While it's a point-and-shoot pocket camera, it appears to be a very nice one; nicer than I initially realized, despite the relatively hefty price tag. Sadly, I am still relatively clueless about all the things this camera can do, I'm doing my best to figure it out. I borrowed a book from the library called
Digital Photography for Dummies. It seems pretty thorough so far; if it's really good, I might even go so far as to buy it as a reference.
I'm also going to buy Adobe CS4 sometime soon, so I'm looking forward to learning how to use it, though I figure that will take me a while. What a happy thought!

Take care, all!

But now it's over and I'm looking towards new horizons and expanding old ones! Got a couple new pieces in the wings as soon as I place that online order. Should be good!
Haven't heard from you in a while either! Life treating you okay?

Hope it wasn't your hard drive that crashed! Those are a pain to replace, even if it was possible to get the information back. Which it's not.
Still, good to hear that all's mostly fine.

However, it is bad enough that we can't really use it for anything. We only turn it on when we need to print something, since the printer's hooked up to it as well. At least that works right.
