Artist's Comments

Sooo, this is a very recent work and a possible entry for the Jewelry Club's latest contest.

The name refers to the Greek legend of Midas, the king who was given the divine gift of turning everything he touched to gold. Now, even the rain has been turned to gold.:D

I was in such a dither about which of two photos to submit for this one that I uploaded them both as a single deviation and asked for input. ~AnotherForgottenSoul was the first to comment, and very helpfully suggested that I take a third photo. Well, this is it. Thank you, ~AnotherForgottenSoul!

See, there you go! The perfect combo. I think my sis would like these (she loves dangley earrings).
Thanx! I know I like 'em! (duh. I'm wearing them. :D)

What do you do with all the jewelry you make? Do you sell it or something?
Yup. I'm mostly into commissions, but I do sell to a local retailer whose shop isn't ten minutes from where I live. And, of course, I keep a few favorites.:D

They say there are two kinds of bugs here in Texas: the ones who are small enough to fly through your screen door, and the ones who are big enough to open it. 0_0
