Sooo, this is a very recent work and a possible entry for the Jewelry Club's latest contest.
The name refers to the Greek legend of Midas, the king who was given the divine gift of turning everything he touched to gold. Now, even the rain has been turned to gold.  I was in such a dither about which of two photos to submit for this one that I uploaded them both as a single deviation and asked for input. ~AnotherForgottenSoul was the first to comment, and very helpfully suggested that I take a third photo. Well, this is it. Thank you, ~AnotherForgottenSoul! 22 & 24k gold plated, strictly copyrighted. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
